The AIPM Library has an extensive collection in areas of:

Access:
- All members of the Australasian Police Services
- Members of the Australian Common Police Services
- Members of ALIES
- Students enrolled in the Australian Graduate School of Policing
- Others with a professional interest in police management and leadership are welcome to use the resources of the AIPM Library
- Personal visits to the library are encouraged and prior arrangements can be made with the Library Manager
- The library's holdings are listed on LIBRARIES AUSTRALIA, the Australian National Bibliographic Network
- Part of the collection is not widely available or held in other Australian libraries
Borrowing rights are available to:
- All members of the Australasian Police Services
- Members of the Australian Common Police Services
- Registered AIPM course participants and AIPM Alumni
- Members of ALIES
- Students enrolled in the Australian Graduate School of Policing
Other agencies or organisations wishing to borrow should arrange the request as an interlibrary loan through their own library.
Restrictions apply to the lending of some resources. Some items are restricted to police personnel only.
