Access to these databases is for staff, students and alumni of the AIPM only. If you are eligible, and do not have the login details, please contact the AIPM Library.

  • Austrom (Informit)
    A compilation of Australian databases covering a wide range of subjects. Subjects include policing, criminology, public affairs, the economy, politics, legal studies, family studies and multicultural affairs. Index only, some links to external sources. Request articles of interest from AIPM Library as most can be sourced from the policing Library network.
  • Emerald
    The Emerald Insight database is a large source of peer-reviewed articles from scholarly journals. The AIPM Library subscribes to approximately 130 full –text journals in the areas of policing, emergency services, criminology, policy making, management and leadership in the public and private sector. Access is available onsite and offsite via password for AIPM students and alumni.
  • EBSCOhost Business Source Complete
    Business Source Complete is the world’s definitive scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. In addition, searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals.
  • EBSCOhost Ebooks
    These E-books are available to read online or to download to your own computer. While there are only a few E-books available at present it is anticipated that the collection will progressively increase.
