Student Support Network

The Student Support Network (SSN) provides extra support and assistance to current AIPM students during their progression through the distance education subjects and preparation for the residential.

The SSN provides current AIPM students with the ability to draw upon a pool of AIPM Graduates and Visiting Fellows, tapping into their own experiences at the AIPM – a resource to assist them better prepare for the residential and obtain support and motivation in completing the distance education component.

Team building

From a pool of AIPM Graduates, current students have the ability to choose and contact members of the SSN for guidance, support and practical information on the course.

Unlike a formal mentoring program in which students are paired with a selected mentor, the SSN’s strength emanates from the rich diversity of those Student Supporters available to current students. Course participants are able to search for a supporter by organisation, gender, rank, course attended and Visiting Fellow. Students can contact as many Supporters as they like.

If you would like further information on the Student Support Network or to become involved, please email ssn@aipm.gov.au.

If you have already agreed to participate in the SSN you can visit the SSN website and search the supporter profiles.
