“Cops want good technology. They want the technology that will support them to do their job and do their job well, and go out and protect the public. If we talk about facial recognition, talk about drones – cops want that. I think it’s got to be a minimum standard, and I think that’s throughout policing, no matter what we’re talking about. Says Belinda Goodwin, National Board member and wellbeing & women’s lead, Police Federation of England & Wales.

“My question here is how do we get policing to think in a more transformational way, rather than a transactional sense of, ‘we need this product, we need this solution’?” said Charlotte. “Investment in digital transformation is absolutely key to success for the future in policing.
