This article reviews the work of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Evidence Based Policing. The success of EBP requires an implementation plan, with out active, planned implementation the outcomes won’t meet their full potential. The up-take of evidence-informed practices relies on the attitudes and motivation of people involved, the leadership engagement within the organisation, and efficient training and data monitoring in the implementation process.
