myAIPMSince 2014, Australia has seen a significant shift in the the prevalence of terrorism and radicalisation. little cohesive information is known about this new, emerging and morphing phenomenon This leads to three simple questions; what is radicalisation, how does it occur and how can we better confront this emerging phenomenon. Radical is a documentary film which seeks to answer these questions by interviewing a never before convened panel of participants from academia, government, law enforcement, Muslim community leaders and persons formally charged with terrorism. The Global Media Project at the University of Sydney incubated the film documentary RADICAL, which is now in production under the direction of Federal Agent Kaveh Karimi, with support of the AFP Innovation Fund.
