myAIPMThe newly elected Federal Labor MP for the WA seat of Tangney Sam Lim chooses 2006 as the year that made him. It was the year he was accepted into the Western Australian Police Force but also the year his daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Sam Lim joined the WA Police Academy in 2006 and has worked across Perth and regional WA. He was appointed as a Diversity Engagement Officer with WA Police and was awarded Police Officer of the year in 2020 for his work with multicultural communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
