Explaining stress during the COVID-19 Pandemic among Chinese Police Officers

This study examines the prevelance of police stress increase during the pandemic's peak month compared to pre-pandemic stress levels.

This study examines the prevalence of police stress increase during the pandemic’s peak month compared to pre pandemic stress. Determining the source of stress as changes in workload and fear of contracting COVID-19. The study concludes that police stress levels reduced when they perceived effective protection against COVID-19 risk, increased family time and received sufficient amounts of sleep.
