Pacific Introduction to Leadership

Pacific Introduction to Leadership

The Pacific Introduction to Leadership program is a 2-day short program designed to provide participants with an introduction to leadership foundations and issues facing new leaders in organisations.

We know that exercising leadership is constantly challenging, especially as environments become more complex and workplaces become more diverse and decentralised. Leaders therefore need to develop highly adaptive approaches for working with this complexity whilst mobilizing others and driving change within their organisations. Looking after one’s self can often fall by the wayside, however without resilience and self-awareness, leaders tend to lose their drive and end up burning out early.

The PILIA program is designed to be delivered in country to a cohort of police members and may include representatives from partner organisations within the local law enforcement community.
