The AIPM is delighted to welcome Matt Heysmand and Amy Mouafi to our facilitation team.
Matt Heysmand joins us as Director, Foundational Programs. Formerly a Visiting Fellow at the AIPM and with over 30 years of service as a sworn officer with the NSW Police Force, Matt brings extensive contemporary policing experience across criminal investigations, major event planning, and police education and training. In his Learning & Development capacity, Matt has designed and delivered programs spanning Incident Command, Emergency Management, Promotional Development, and Leadership. His advanced capability in immersive learning will significantly enhance our executive programs and our continuing work across the Pacific.
Amy Mouafi joins us as Director, Executive Programs. Amy brings 25 years of experience in management and strategic initiatives across government, law enforcement, and the not‑for‑profit sector. She is highly skilled in developing frameworks for large‑scale community programs that drive sustainable change and advance organisational objectives. With a strong foundation in evidence‑based approaches, Amy has led major initiatives in crime reduction, socio‑economic development, and emergency management. She also serves as a Director on the Board of 4 Voices, a not‑for‑profit organisation supporting girls and women in crisis.
